MY EXPERIENCE IN THE CTE MOCK INTERVIEWS By Jorge Carty Diaz

Image result for interview pictures          The mock interview was a group interview where we got interviewed individually. We had a teacher interviewing us, filling up a checklist and giving us feedback. Most of the people looked scared or nervous about the situation and some were unsure of what to answer. Even though i didn't get a chance to get interviewed, i felt very comfortable and confident about myself.

Our interviewer was a funny person, he asked us the most random questions he found to see how we reacted and how we formulate an answer. I also heard very common questions such as ''Talk about yourself'' or ''What are you strengths and weaknesses?''. I was pretty much prepared for every question since i already have prior experience being interviewed, so i kind of know how to control my nerves.

A lot of people were fidgeting and that was telling me that they lack of experience, some others are shy so it's difficult for them to talk loud and comfortably. I believe this is a good practice because you can see the factors you can improve on and try to put it in practice later on. I realized that i have to practice random questions and sometimes improvise a little bit to look natural and give good vibes to my interviewer and probably work with them in the future.
