Project Dos | Shark Tank | - Jorge Carty

I enjoyed this project, even though I was not there to do one of my favorite things, present my work. I really wanted to present my work to the sharks and other peers but unfortunately, I had to leave the country and, it was not possible.

Leaving that aside, this project was interesting because I had 2 very peculiar teammates, one would get distracted by the minimal movement and the other wouldn't come to class or show up late. Surprisingly, we all finished our parts and I am glad my teammates were responsible enough to complete their parts as we planned. I was the leader of this team, by their choice, and I had to make sure every single page was completed. I was behind them every time we needed their parts to be completed.

I enjoyed the planning stage and the coding stage because we worked together on a color scheme based on the interviews we did prior development stages.

We received 2 companies to work with and we needed to make a website and present our product while at the same time we compete against other teams who also got the same company. It was very competitive. While others focused on making the website look very flashy and animated, we focused on making them easy to navigate and efficient. In my opinion, animations look good but some people will complain about the animation times and we decided to leave them without any animations.

We needed something to compete against those fancy animations and don't make our product look opaque next to the others. We thought about the graphics and we utilized the parallax effect because it always looks nice to the human eye and it looks interesting.

I wish my teammates the best of luck in the presentations and I have a lot of faith in them, they're capable of doing a great job.
