Final Portfolio - Jorge Carty Diaz

It really is the end of an amazing journey with a lot of ups and downs. It is kind of sad to see the end of something that has been with you for years now. My final portfolio.

I didn't do anything too crazy but I decided to go with something that can describe me or represent me. I decided to go with a simple design BUT! there are more "flashy" things on them. Y'all will see it when y'all see it. 


On the main page you will see 3 options to dive into. All three represent me in some way. Throughout these years I've been planning this out and now it all will make sense. Color schemes weren't random colors that looked good with each other. There are days when you appreciate every single color and other where you see everything black & white, and some others were you don't even know where you are standing.


Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who helped me when I was stuck on something and for the people who told me to continue doing what I do. My motivation was on and off and a lot of times I did stuff because I had to do them instead of me wanting to do it but we made it, right?... right?

My experience in the Metropolitan Museum of Art

This experience was great! I loved everything i saw in the museum but of course, there are some stuff that could have been better. Let's start with the negatives so we can finish up with the positives. One negative aspect about the trip was the waiting time outside. It really was a pain to have to wait for around 30-40 minutes outside in the rain. It really didn't feel good but i believe the staff was doing everything as fast as they could to get every single student inside the museum. In the museum i got to talk to many representatives of different programs around New York and they gave us stuff like posts its, pens, little notebooks, pins, stickers, etc. These programs offered many activities, some of them paid and some others free, and these programs were really interesting because one of them offered game development classes, others musical classes and more. LAB 8 - Flash Talk Page by Jorge Carty Diaz

In the lab 8 called "Flash Talk Page" we had to do many things. Maybe it wasn't many things but it was definitely stuff that takes time to prepare and make. In this lab we made a 2 minute speech of an internet issue giving information about the topic in a simple way that everyone would understand. We had a research phase where we were supposed to collect information about the topic. Then we got into the writing phase, which was basically organizing the information we collected from our research and making it 2 minutes long. Then we entered in the recording phase which consisted on recording ourselves reading the speech we prepared in the previous phase. I decided to make the video in my house since i wanted to do it with my own equipment and i believe it turned out being pretty good.
